Topps 1961 set featured 198 cards of both NFL & AFL players. The front of these cards contain a player photograph set on a solid color background. The players name along with his team and position is located in a black box along the bottom of the card. The backs are printed in blue ink and set horizontal. The players name and stats or highlights are located along the left side and a 'Make a Photo' display takes up most of the backs of these cards. A x-ray like photo can be displayed by rubbing the edge of a coin along the blank area.
