2005 Season finale ends just as a footnote to a surreal kind of season. The disspointment was apparent on the faces of the Cowboys coaches, players and fans prior to kickoff. The Cowboys knew their fate was sealed earlier in the day making this game meaningless as far as playoffs were concerned.
Player of the Game; It was evident that a lot of guys were ready to pack it in, especially in the second half. It was hard to pick out one player who stood out above the rest but I thought Ryan Fowler had a really good game, probably his best of the season.
Other players who deserve props; Keith Davis played well as did most of the defense. The offense on the other hand.. geez, those lineman should return some of their paychecks.
