The Cowboys win at home vs Houston.

The Cowboys played fairly well, especially after the 1st quarter. The Offense moved the ball well and scored 3 touchdowns. The defense was able to stifle the Texans to just 3 points on offense.

Injuries; none

Player of the Game; Tyson Thompson appears to be forcing his way onto this team with another great performance! 52 yards on 13 carries with touchdown!

Other players who deserve props; Juluis Jones appears ready for the season to start. Patrick Crayton appears primed for the #3 WR spot. DeMarcus Ware picks up another sack and could just be the next Cowboys super star!

Grades:
Offense - C; 1st string offense is struggling. Julius is the lone bright spot.
Defense - A; The Cowboys defense shut the Texans down for most of the night.
Special teams - C; gave up a 102 yard touchdown return to former Cowboy Reggie Swinton. I was happy to see Reggie do well I would just prefer he does this against other opponents!

Did you notice? Bledsoe's numbers were pretty impresive, just nothing to show for them.

Next game; Thursday Night 9/1 at Texas Stadium vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Demarcus Ware
