Playoff began producing football cards in 1992. Based out of Arlington, TX, Playoff has come to the forefront of sports cards by continuing to produce some of the highest quality cards today.

Unlike most card companies, Playoff started out producing football cards and eventually migrated to producing baseball cards as well when it released its first baseball set in 2001. Playoff is currently only producing football and baseball cards. Playoff also owns Score and Donruss, 2 other very popular trading card companies.
