Billy Cundiff was signed as a Free Agent during the 2002 off season. He was expected to give current Cowboy kicker Tim Seder some competition during training camp and preseason but in the end, he ended up winning the job and has been one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL since then. Cundiff made 23 of 29 field goal attempts in 2003, placing him among the top kickers in the league.
The card to the left is a bit of an oddity. It's the only Rookie card of Billy and the only main stream card available of him. It's a short print, very hard to find, and typically sells for $30.00 or more. The parallel version of this card (S/N to 100) is extemely rare and I have seen it sell for more than $100.00! Crazy, huh?
