Dan CampbellDan Campbell was drafted by the NY Giants in the 3rd round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Campbell had his best year in NY in 2002 with 22 catches and 175 yards but he became expedable with the addition of Pro Bowl TE Jeremy Shockey to the Giants. The Cowboys picked up Dan as a Free Agent in 2003. Campbell had 20 catches for a career high 195 yards his first season in Dallas in a limited role. Dan brings much needed experience, toughness, and durability to the Tight End position. Expect the Cowboys to continue to use Campbell in running situations and an occassional passing down.
