Greg EllisGreg Ellis was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1st round (8th overall pick) of the 1998 NFL Draft. After an All American career at the University of North Carolina, Greg has quickly become the Cowboys best defensive lineman and one of the teams steadiest performers. Greg has lead the team in sacks 4 times and as a rookie in 1998 led all Cowboy linemen in tackles. Greg proved his versatility by switching from the right side of the defensive line to the left side during his 3rd season. In 1991 Greg had back to back games with a return for a touchdown. He returned an interception 87 yards for a TD against the Falcons and the next week he returned a fumble 98 yards for a TD against the Cardinals, a Cowboy fumble return record and a record for the longest return for a touchdown by a Cowboy lineman!
