 Kevin Burnett Linebacker from Tennessee was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys
in the 2nd round of the 2005 NFL draft. Kevin was the 1st Vol taken in the 2005 NFL draft. During his career at Tennessee, the Carson, California native was a two-time
captain. He was also All-SEC and All-America. A three-year starter at Tennessee, Burnett finished his senior season with 120
tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack and one interception. Several draft
boards had Burnett rated as the third-best linebacker behind Texas' Derrick
Johnson and Maryland's Shawne Merriman. |
