Home > Leo Carson of The Dallas Cowboys

Leo Carson was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 4th round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Leo missed most of his rookie season with a shoulder injury but became a surprise starter his 2nd season in San Diego finishing the season with 33 tackles and 3 sacks. The Charges cut Leo after 5 games into the 2003 season and he was quickly signed by the Cowboys were he saw action in 8 games and recorded 1.5 sacks. With only a 3 man rotation at Defensive tackle, Leo should expect to see a lot of action, his size and experience running a similar defensive scheme in San Diego should allow him to contribute almost immediately.
