It is now time for all the hype and hoopla to give way for the regular season. For the first time in over a decade, the Cowboys are not only favored to win their division, they are favored by many to win the NFC Championship as well as the Super Bowl. There is a lot of talk about Super Bowl or bust for this team but think those type of statements are far fetched. This is a young team that has yet to take the next step, which would be winning a playoff game. Now I certainly would not be content with a single playoff win but feel that is the next logical step and if that were all they accomplished this season, I would feel a bit of satisfaction at the end.
The Cowboys will begin their quest for a 9th NFC Championship and 6th Super Bowl in Cleveland vs the much improved Cleveland Browns. The Browns are one of the few teams that hold an edge in overall win/loss record vs the Cowboys (10-15). The last time these 2 teams met was in 2004 when the Cowboys beat the Browns 19-12 at home in the second game of the year.
2. Newest Cowboy cards. (2008 Topps Chrome)
The Newest Cowboy cards to be added to my Stock are 2008 Topps Chrome. Topps Chrome of course is a high end parallel of the base Topps set with tons of refractor parallels. I have also added UD SPx, Topps Stadium Club, Score and Score Select. I have only a sprinkling of those brands in stock but have enough Topps Chrome to offer a special deal!
The 2008 Topps Chrome Cowboys base set contains 13 cards, 8 veterans and 3 Rookies (Felix Jones not included with every order, see below!) **The Felix Jones 2008 Topps Chome card is very limited and only available to the first dozen or so orders! Once that card is gone, it's gone and I will have to ship the package without the Felix Jones card but I will substitute with a parallel or insert from the 2008 Topps Chrome brand.
