Tony DixonTony Dixon was drafted by the Cowboys in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL Draft. An injury slowed down his progress as a rookie in 2001 but a year of seasoning allowed him to make a greater impact in 2002. Tony has been sitting behind Darren Woodson since he entered the NFL getting small amounts of playing time as a backup safety. An injury to Woodson in 2002 and in 2004 have allowed Dixon to showcase his abilities and although he is not up to par with All Pro Darren Woodson, he does show a lot of promise. Dixon has quickly become one of the Cowboys best blitzers getting to the quarterback more often than not.
