Troy Aikman, QB UCLA, was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys as the 1st overall pick in the 1989 NFL draft and made his NFL debut at Quarterback for the Cowboys in 1989. Troy started slowly with his young Dallas Cowboys team but quickly became one of the best in the league. During his 12 year career Troy Aikman led the Dallas Cowboys to 3 Super Bowl Victories, 4 straight NFC Championship games, 6 NFC east titles, and 8 playoff appearances. Troy Aikman is the winningest quarterback of any decade in NFL history with 90 victories in the 1990's. He broke nearly every Dallas Cowboy passing record and finished with the 4th highest completion percentage in NFL history. Troy Aikman is one of only 3 quarterbacks in NFL history to lead his team to win 3 Super Bowls wins and was named MVP of Super Bowl XXVII. Troy was inducted into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor during the 2005 NFL season along with Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. Troy was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, his first year of eligibility! After his playing days were over, Troy remained active in football. He became a broadcaster with FOX Sports and quickly became one of the best in the game. After only a few years in the booth, Troy was teamed up with play by play man Joe Buck to form FOX's top broadcasting team. Troy also became active in NASCAR when he teamed up with Roger Staubach to form Hall of Fame Racing in 2005.
