Chuck HowleyChuck Howley was selected in the 1st round of the 1958 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears. After suffering a career threatening knee injury he decided to retire at the end of the 1959 season. In 1961 Chuck decided to give football another shot and the Cowboys gave him that shot. It turned to work well for the Cowboys as Howley played for 13 years with the Cowboys earning Pro-Bowl honors 6 times. Chuck holds the distinction of being the only player on a loosing team to win MVP honors of a Super Bowl (Super Bowl V). Chuck became the 4th member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor when he was inducted in 1976.
