Alan Veingrad, Tackle from Texas A&M University in Commerce, was an undrafted Free Agent out of college and signed with the Green Bay Packers in the spring of 1986. Alan made the Packers team and played well for 4 seasons in Green Bay. In 1991, he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a Plan B Free Agent. Alan played 2 seasons with the Cowboys and helped them win Super Bowl XXVII. After the 1992 season, 6 years and a Super Bowl win, Alan retired from Pro Football. After retirement, Alan moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida were he rediscovered his jewish roots.
