Drew Henson Dallas Cowboy football cards
Drew Henson, QB from the University of Michigan, was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 1998 amateur baseball draft. He played in the Yankees farm system for 2 seasons and appeared in 8 major league games (1 hit in 8 at bats) before giving up baseball and returning to the gridiron. The Houston Texans drafted Drew in the 6th round of the 2003 NFL draft and eventually traded him to the Dallas Cowboys. Drew spent 2 seasons on the Cowboys sideline, appearing in only a handful of games. In 2006 the Cowboys sent Drew to Europe to gain some on the field experience and hopefully recapture the football glory that once had him tabbed as a Heisman Trophy candidate at the University of Michigan. Drew was cut by the Cowboys before the start of the 2006 season. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2006 season.
