David LaFleur Dallas Cowboy football cards
David LaFleur, TE from Louisiana State University, was selected in the 1st round of the 1997 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys in an effort to help replace retiring All Pro Tight End Jay Novacek. David spent 4 seasons in Dallas and although his numbers were productive, he never lived up to his 1st round draft billing and never was able to replace the Cowboys All Pro Tight End, Jay Novacek. David played in the NFL for 4 seasons. During that time, he caught 85 passes for 729 yards and 12 touchdowns. His best season came in 1999 when he caught 35 passes for 322 yards and 7 scores.
