Demarcus Ware, Defensive End from the University of Troy, was selected in the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Demarcus Ware was starting at LB right off the bat as the Dallas Cowboys switched to a 3-4 defensive scheme. Demarcus made a huge impact as a rookie, leading the team in QB sacks with 8. Demarcus made the NFC Pro Bowl his second season in the league while leading the team with 11.5 sacks. He also returned an interception 41 yards for his first career TD. Demarcus continued to improve his 3rd season racking up 14 QB sacks and earning another trip to the Pro Bowl. It was in Demarcus Ware's 4th NFL season that he solidified himself as one of the top defensive players in the league by setting a Dallas Cowboys record and leading the NFL with 20 QB sacks. A foot injuried hampered Demarcus during the 2009 season but that didn't stop him from starting all 16 games, earning his 4th straight Pro Bowl trip and recording another 11 QB Sacks.
