Joey Galloway Dallas Cowboy football cards

Joey Galloway, WR from the Ohio State University, was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1st round of the 1995 NFL draft. Joey was one of the best 'unknown' wide receivers in the league playing out in Seattle. He eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving 3 of his first 4 seasons in the league and scored 36 touchdowns. In 1999, Joey sat out most of the year due to a contract dispute and he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys for 2 first round draft picks in 2000. In Joey's first game with the Cowboys he blew out his knee and missed the rest of the season. He returned in 2001 but the Cowboys were rebuilding and they struggled for the next 3 seasons on offense. Joey was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004 for Keyshawn Johnson. In his second season in Tampa, Joey had his finest season in the NFL catching a career high 83 passes for a career high 1,287 yards plus 10 touchdowns. An injury forced Galloway to miss all but 9 games in 2008 and he had only 13 catches. Galloway signed with the New England Patriots in 2009 but he appeared in only 3 games and had 2 catches. Galloway signed with the Washington Redskins in 2010, he appeared in 8 games and had 12 catches for the Skins.
