Jason Witten, TE from the University of Tennessee, was born in Elizabeth, TN in May of 1982. Witten was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2nd round of the 2003 NFL draft. Jason was a Pro Bowl TE by his 2nd season in the NFL. He set a Cowboy TE record of 87 catches for 980 yards in 2004 which he broke in 2007 with 97 catches. He backed up his 2004 Pro Bowl season with another Pro Bowl effort in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. He was also selected First Team All Pro in 2007 and 2010. In 2012, Witten set a single season record for Tight Ends and Cowboys receivers with 110 catches. In his 10 seasons in the NFL, Jason Witten has established himself as one of the greatest Tight Ends in NFL history and is quickly moving up the ranks of all time receptions by a Tight End.
