One of the greatest thrills in all of sports card collecting
is busting wax packs. We eagerly sift through the pack
of cards looking for the next hot rookie insert. An
autograph or game used card is all we need to make our
box and if we find more than 1, bingo, a hot box. It wasn't always this way, back when I first started
opening wax packs as a kid, I was only looking for Cowboys.
There were no hot inserts, no autographs or game used
cards, only base cards and if I found a Cowboy, then
I was set.
1980Topps Regular wax pack 12 cards per pack plus a stick of gum (I wouldn't chew this gum).
